Global managed cybersecurity leader SonicWall and Digital Planets, a subsidiary of DP Group specializing in integrated digital solutions and services, have signed a strategic partnership agreement aimed at enhancing digital defense capabilities across Middle Eastern markets.

The partnership comes at a critical time, as the regional cybersecurity market experiences unprecedented growth driven by rapid digital expansion and increasingly sophisticated threats. According to global reports, cybercrime damages are projected to reach USD 10.5 trillion annually in 2025.

Digital Planets Becomes SonicWall Gold Partner in the Middle East

Under the agreement, Digital Planets has become a SonicWall Gold Partner, delivering advanced cybersecurity solutions across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. The partnership was formalized during GITEX Global 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, featuring over 6,800 technology companies.

Accelerating Growth in Cybersecurity Threats

Egypt recorded over 20,000 cyberattacks in the first half of 2025, targeting critical communications and infrastructure sectors. The cybersecurity market in the Middle East and Africa is expected to become the second-largest globally, with a 16.2% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in the coming years.

Middle East Remains a Key Target
