Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. presented a new lineup of premium built-in kitchen appliances at IFA 2025, designed to cater to Europe’s growing demand for open kitchen interiors that feel spacious and café-like.
At the forefront of this lineup is the Extractor Induction Hob, which integrates a powerful hood with a turbo slim fan directly into the cooktop surface. With an exhaust duct installed below or behind the countertop, the hob ensures strong airflow to quickly remove smoke and cooking odors.
Equipped with Flex Zone Plus, each zone contains four induction coils, enabling flexible placement of pots and pans while providing even heat distribution over a larger area. Its matte, anti-fingerprint, high-durability glass surface is scratch-resistant and easy to maintain, preserving a clean, premium appearance after every use.
This design eliminates the need for ceiling-mounted hoods, enhancing spatial openness and visual flow. As European kitchens trend toward open layouts with fewer upper cabinets and larger island counters, the Extractor Induction Hob offers a stylish, practical solution for minimalist, island-style kitchens.
Bespoke AI Dishwasher Brings Seamless Design and Smart Cleaning
Also showcased in Europe is the Bespoke AI Dishwasher, featuring an Auto Open Door for fully built-in configurations. This allows users to maintain a clean, handle-free exterior, blending seamlessly with kitchen cabinetry. The redesigned upper rack includes dedicated spaces for glassware, improving loading flexibility.
Performance is enhanced through the AI Wash cycle, which uses a high-sensitivity turbidity sensor and AI algorithm to automatically select the optimal cleaning cycle based on the level of soiling.
Since its launch earlier this year in Korea and the U.S., the AI Wash cycle has been used more than twice as often as the previously most-used normal cycle as of August 2025, reflecting high adoption among users.
