Prime Minister Opens “Adomena” Factory and Inspects “Egypt Anode” in Ain Sokhna’s Orascom Industrial Parks
During his visit to Orascom Industrial Parks in Ain Sokhna, Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly inaugurated the Adomena Factory for building materials and inspected the Egypt Anode facility, reaffirming Egypt’s commitment to strengthening industrial investment within the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone).
Government Commitment to Industrial Growth
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly’s visit to Ain Sokhna came as part of his continuous follow-up on investment and industrial projects within the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone). The tour underscores the Egyptian government’s dedication to fostering sustainable growth and supporting local and foreign investors.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by key officials, including Lieutenant General Kamel Al Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport; Engineer Mohamed Shimi, Minister of Public Business Sector; Mr. Walid Gamal El Din, Chairman of the General Authority for the SCZone; Major General Dr. Tarek Hamed El Shazly, Governor of Suez; and Eng. Amr El Batrik, CEO of Orascom Industrial Parks.
Opening of Adomena Factory for Building Materials
The Prime Minister inaugurated the Adomena Factory, one of the latest industrial investments within the Suez Canal region.
The factory specializes in producing PVC profiles and PVC doors, with a total investment of USD 20 million, and provides around 250 direct job opportunities for Egyptian youth.
This project represents a significant step toward achieving Egypt’s Vision 2030 goals by supporting local manufacturing and enhancing industrial self-sufficiency.
Inspection of Egypt Anode Facility
Dr. Madbouly and the accompanying delegation also inspected Egypt Anode, a company established in 2007 with a total investment of USD 58.5 million.
The company is a leading producer of carbon blocks used in heavy industries and currently employs over 127 skilled workers.
The visit highlighted Egypt’s growing industrial base and the strategic role of the Suez Canal Economic Zone in attracting high-value manufacturing projects.
