Seha Group Launches SehaAcademy and Partners with Chubb Life Egypt to Drive Digital Insurtech
Seha Group has announced landmark strategic initiatives focused on workforce development and the digital transformation of medical insurance during its inaugural annual event, held at the Creativa Innovation Hub in Sultan Hussein Palace, Cairo. The event convened over 250 industry leaders, decision-makers, CEOs, and prominent figures across the medical insurance and education sectors.
The milestone event witnessed the official signing of a strategic partnership between SehaTech and Chubb Life Egypt aimed at digitizing group insurance solutions. Simultaneously, Seha Group unveiled “SehaAcademy” in collaboration with the British University in Egypt (BUE), alongside an agreement with GREA UK to manage the academy’s operations. Expanding its technological lineup, SehaOne unveiled InsureHub and AiDa—an advanced AI-powered virtual assistant. Together, these initiatives reinforce Seha Group’s commitment to nurturing specialized industry talent, accelerating digital evolution, and building cross-sector synergies.
Delivering the opening address, Dr. Mohamed El Shabrawy, CEO and Co-Founder of Seha Group, stated:
“This event marks an important milestone for Seha Group and reflects our vision for growth through investment in people, technology, and strategic partnerships. We believe that developing the medical insurance sector requires more than introducing new products. It calls for building professional capabilities, leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency, and collaborating with partners who bring the expertise needed to create sustainable value for the market.”
Digitizing Operations: SehaTech & Chubb Life Egypt
Under this strategic agreement, SehaTech will digitize Chubb Life Egypt’s medical and life insurance operations using an integrated tech stack. The platform will streamline end-to-end workflows, including operations management, beneficiary and group administration, invoicing, and real-time reporting, thereby significantly elevating operational efficiency.
Commenting on the alliance, Eslam Nagah, Country President & Managing Director of Chubb Life Egypt, emphasized:
“Chubb has established a strong position in the global insurance sector, with a presence in 54 countries and territories and extensive experience across diverse markets. Through our local partnership with SehaTech, we aim to leverage this global expertise alongside SehaTech’s technological capabilities and deep understanding of local market needs. Together, we seek to develop solutions tailored to the Egyptian market while drawing on international best practices.”
Dr. El Shabrawy added that the alliance underscores Seha Group’s dedication to enriching the broader medical insurance ecosystem and delivering enhanced value to stakeholders.
SehaAcademy: Cultivating Next-Gen Insurance Talent
Designed to bridge the skills gap in healthcare management and medical insurance, SehaAcademy was launched as a joint effort between Seha Group and BUE, with global management execution entrusted to GREA UK. The academy will deliver specialized training modules aimed at upskilling current workforce professionals and preparing a new cohort of qualified talent.
Prof. Dr. Mostafa AboElsoud, CEO of GREA UK, remarked:
“We are proud to collaborate with Seha Group in managing SehaAcademy. We look forward to delivering specialized programs combining academic rigor, capacity building, and international recognition. Developing professional competencies is essential to supporting the growth and efficiency of the medical insurance sector as it evolves.”
This initiative expands upon SehaOne’s existing collaboration with BUE’s School of Continuing Education, which focuses on human capital development, applied research, and community engagement.
SehaOne Elevates Digital Solutions with AI
Reinforcing its role as an insurtech leader, SehaOne introduced InsureHub alongside AiDa, an AI-driven virtual assistant designed to deliver automated, instant support to website visitors and handle complex customer queries.
The launches align with SehaOne’s broader e-TPA (electronic Third-Party Administration) strategy, which utilizes advanced analytics and automation to simplify procedures, cut approval turnaround times, reduce fraud, and ensure seamless connectivity between insurance carriers and healthcare providers.
