Cairo, August 2026 – Elsewedy Technical Academy, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with KORRA, through its Al Korra Foundation, to launch “Elsewedy & KORRA German Technical Academy” in Sadat City, starting from the 2026/2027 academic year. The partnership reflects both parties’ commitment to advancing technical education and vocational training in Egypt, while preparing youth with the skills needed in line with international standards and strengthening their competitiveness in local and global markets.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Eng. Ahmed Elsewedy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Elsewedy Electric Foundation; Eng. Ayman Korra, President & CEO of KORRA; Mrs. Hanan ElRihany, CEO of Elsewedy Technical Academy (STA) and Eng. Heba Korra, Vice President of KORRA, alongside senior executives and high-level representatives from both organizations.
The academy will offer specialized programs across four key fields: HVAC, Electrical Maintenance, Electrical Installations in Buildings, and Mechanical Operations & Maintenance. Upon successfully completing their three-year course of study, students will receive a German-accredited certificate, in addition to the opportunity to study English and German in accordance with international standards. Together, these offerings will strengthen students’ capabilities and enhance their prospects in both local and international labor markets.
Commenting on the collaboration, Eng. Ahmed Elsewedy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Elsewedy Electric Foundation, said:
